CBT Therapy

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a ground-breaking evidence-based therapy that has been demonstrated as an effective treatment for a vast range of problems. This is my predominant therapeutic approach. Other therapies used also include Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). A full assessment and formulation allows me to tailor the therapy to suit your individual needs.

Typical problems that can be helped with CBT include: depression, anxiety, stress, panic disorder, social anxiety, postnatal depression, adjustment to stressful life events, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anger management, addictions, chronic fatigue, psychological adjustment to physical health problems, and many more. If you would like to ask whether your specific problems may be suitable for psychological assessment, please contact me for your free telephone consultation.
